Ependymoma in the Frontal

Abstract
|
|
|
Ependymoma is benign tumor which may arise in relation to any part of the ventricular system but the region of the 4th ventricle is the commonest site. According to Kernohan and Sayre about the 40% occur above tentorium and 60% below. These tumors constitute about 6% of all intracranial glioma and are predominantly tumors of childhood and adolescent but they also occur in adult.
We are reporting a case of ependymoma arising in the frontal lobe.
